If you're planning to start an aluminum foil container business, you've likely wondered: “What kind of workshop do I need? Will my existing space fit the machine?”These questions might seem small, but the wrong layout leads to delayed installation, inefficient production, or even safety risks. Let's break down 3 key workshop-related issues and how to solve them—using real data from our equipment.
Why Workshop Planning Matters for Aluminum Foil Machines
Your workshop isn’t just a “place to put the machine”—it directly affects production efficiency and safety. For example:
3 Key Workshop & Installation Questions (With Real Data)
1. What’s the Minimum Space Needed for the Machine?
The space requirement depends on the machine model—our 3 core models have clear dimensions:
T63 (63 ton): Needs 6.5m (length) × 6m (width) × 3.8m (height) of space. Plus, reserve 40㎡ around it for material storage and worker operation.
T80 (80 ton): Slightly larger—7.5m × 7m × 3.8m, with 40㎡ reserved space.
T130 (130 ton): For large-scale production—8m × 7.5m × 4m, with 50㎡ reserved space.
Pro tip: Don’t forget auxiliary equipment! An air compressor (needed for machine operation) takes 1.5m × 1m of space, and a forklift (for mold/material handling) needs 3m of turning room. For 2 production lines, we recommend a total workshop area of ≥600㎡ (100㎡ for production, 100㎡ for raw materials, 400㎡ for finished products).
2. What Are the Floor & Ceiling Requirements?
Floor: Must be flat, solid cement (or epoxy) flooring. The machine is heavy—T63 weighs 13500KG, T80 14500KG—so the floor needs to bear ≥1500KG/㎡. A foundation isn’t mandatory, but if you plan to run the machine 24 hours a day, a 10cm-thick concrete foundation will reduce vibration (and cut defective rates by 3-5%).
Ceiling: Net height must be ≥3.8m (for T63/T80) or ≥4m (for T130). The workshop door also needs to be ≥4.5m tall—otherwise, the machine can’t be moved inside during installation.
Important note: Never place the machine on the 2nd floor. The weight of T80 (14500KG) exceeds the load capacity of most 2nd floors, which may cause floor deformation or collapse.
