A rewinder converts a jumbo roll into the small rolls sold at retail: household aluminum foil and baking paper. On a two-spindle machine, the operator loads one spindle while the other winds, so the machine keeps running between roll changes.
Cutting is automatic. The operator applies the glue tail and swaps the paper core. Output per shift therefore depends on those two manual steps as much as on the 450 m/min maximum speed — a figure worth treating as a machine limit, not a production promise.
Raw material goes on a 76 mm (3 inch) core, and finished rolls come off on 30 mm, 35 mm or 38 mm cores, with other core sizes available on request. The machine is compact at 1200 × 1000 × 1000 mm, so it fits an existing workshop rather than requiring a dedicated line. It works with aluminum foil and baking paper only; for cling film, we build a dedicated cling film rewinding machine.

The machine runs 0.009–0.03 mm thick stock in widths of 100–500 mm. Confirm that the foil and baking paper you buy sit inside those ranges before ordering.
Inner diameter is 30 mm or 38 mm, outer diameter 45–130 mm, on paper cores of 30 mm, 35 mm or 38 mm (customizable). Every SKU you sell has to land inside that 45–130 mm outer diameter window and match one of the available core sizes.
Aluminum foil can go up to 600 mm outer diameter and 500 kg; baking paper up to 700 mm and 500 kg. Raw material inner diameter is 76 mm (3 inch), so match your material sourcing to that core size.
Maximum working speed is 450 m/min. Foil cutting is automatic; gluing is manual with automatic gluing available as an option; core replacement is manual; the machine has two spindles.

Automatic gluing machine |
On the two-spindle machine, cutting is automated while gluing and core changes stay with the operator. On the six-spindle machine, gluing is automated and the machine watches for label, film and tube faults. The fully automatic model stops and alarms on short or missing labels, film breakage, and paper tube shortage — functions that matter when one operator supervises six spindles at once.
Choose the two-spindle machine when one operator can keep it busy through a shift and your product list covers foil and baking paper. Choose the six-spindle machine if you need automatic gluing and process alarms to run mainly unattended, or if you want the output of six spindles from one unit. Both machines are built for the same material family; they are simply aimed at different production scales.

The supply is specified as three-phase with neutral and earth — check all three items against your workshop, since a supply without neutral is a different specification. The machine is PLC-controlled (Mitsubishi) with an installed power of 3 kW, so the electrical load is modest for a converting machine; the constraint is the supply type, not the amperage. Compressed air is also required at 0.5–0.8 MPa; confirm the line pressure at the machine's position rather than at the compressor.
With a 700 kg machine on a 1200 × 1000 mm footprint, allow a level floor plus clearance on the loading side for jumbo rolls up to 700 mm in diameter.
Can it handle cling film?
No. This machine is built for aluminum foil and baking paper. Cling film rewinding is handled by our dedicated cling film rewinding machine.
How large a jumbo roll can it take?
Up to 600 mm outer diameter and 500 kg for aluminum foil, or 700 mm and 500 kg for baking paper, on a 76 mm (3 inch) core.
What is the maximum speed?
450 m/min.
What finished roll sizes can it produce?
Inner diameter 30 mm or 38 mm, outer diameter 45–130 mm, on paper cores of 30 mm, 35 mm or 38 mm (customizable).
Is gluing automatic?
Gluing is manual as standard; automatic gluing is available as an option.
What power and air supply does it need?
380 V, 50 Hz, three-phase plus neutral and earth, 3 kW installed power, and compressed air at 0.5–0.8 MPa.
How much floor space does it need?
The machine measures 1200 × 1000 × 1000 mm and weighs 700 kg. Allow extra clearance on the loading side.
